WI Family | Yathi & Gina

Yathi and Gina are waiting to welcome a child into their heart and home through open adoption. Learn more about them!

Dear Birth Mom/Family,

Our hearts go out to you as you face this decision and thank you for your consideration.  We are so excited to expand our family and want to let you know a little about us in the hopes that you will see us as a good match for you and your child.

Sincerely,

Yathi and Gina

Our Story & How We Met

Gina grew up in rural Idaho before moving to inner-city Chicago during her middle school years.  Yathi, on the other hand, grew up around Chicago.  We met during our undergraduate college years at Loyola University.  We very soon became close friends and about 3 years later became engaged.  While it was not easy, we coordinated our lives to follow each other as Gina went to medical school and Yathi pursued his graduate school career to become a scientist.  After having been married for over 10 years now we can honestly say that we can’t imagine doing this crazy thing called life with anyone other than each other.

About Us & Fun Facts

About Yathi According to Gina…

Yathi is the most kind and gentle man I have ever known.  He is so hands on with the kids and loves to share his love of science through fun experiments.  Over the past few years he has become quite the good cook and everyone looks forward to Saturday waffles!

About Yathi According to Gina…

Gina is dedicated to enriching our family’s life with new adventures to go on and new foods for us to try at home. Gina is very creative and loves to bring out our children’s creativity through art projects and music. Gina brightens up our days and it is always exciting to see what new ideas she has next.

Our Children

Kai is so fun loving!  He is now 6 years old and very excited to be a big brother again and is already telling us which books he will read to his new brother or sister.  This inquisitive little boy never stops reading and loves all things that are growing.  You will often find him outside with

“Lita” (grandma) in the garden.  He has such a contagious laugh!

Enora is such a sweet 3 year old little girl.  She loves to be part of whatever the rest of the family is doing and will often “bake” right alongside us with her own little bowl and spoon or sit on our laps to learn her ABCs while Kai completes his lessons since she does not want to be left out of the fun.  She loves to spin and dance!

Our Home & Community

Our 4 bedroom home has a large backyard complete with a basketball hoop and garden.  We are also in the process of building a gazebo in the backyard and we are looking forward to all the friends and family that will enjoy the space.  We chose this small community just 15 min south of Madison for its proximity to the city while still allowing us a little bit of land to get our hands dirty.  We especially enjoy our sun room that allows us to get lots of light even through the cold Wisconsin winters.

Our Families

“Lita” is what the kid’s call Gina’s mother who lives with us and she adds such flavor to the home!  She frequently makes delicious Mexican food and speaks Spanish to the kids so they have become bilingual thanks to her.  Kai and Enora adore her and we love that they have been able to become so close to their grandmother.

Nana and Tata (Yathi’s parents) still live near Chicago but we see them frequently.  They are so generous in spirit and have a close relationship with Enora and Kai.  You can often find Tata being dragged around by the kids while they show him their newest project.  And between Nana and Lita, we have no lack of spicy delicious food!  In the picture below you can also see two cousins who visited us from Germany.  Although they are far, we try to FaceTime when we can.

Pets

Vicky (short for Queen Victoria) is a very introverted ~ 10 year old little kitty, preferring many days to venture out when the house is quiet.  She has a very sweet personality though and fascinates our little ones who are always trying to get her to be more social.

Traveling

We enjoy traveling so much!  Although it is not easy to do so with small children we have found that the troubles are far outweighed by the beautiful family memories that are formed.  Chicago is where we get to most often as we have a lot of family there. “Big” trips may only happen once a year but we have been able to explore Washington D.C, Hawaii, and many areas of India together, as a family.  We also really enjoy our time in nature so we try to be in it and around it as much as possible.  Whether it is a local farm, a state park, a beach, a hiking trail, or our own backyard,  we always return rejuvenated and inspired for the days ahead.

Thank You

Thank you for your brave decision to consider adoption.  We know that by making this decision you only want what is best for your child and we deeply respect your desire to find the right people to love and cherish your baby.  We will do everything that we can help them to fulfill the dreams you have for their future and we will always be grateful for the opportunity to do so.  We believe that all children deserve honesty and the most complete knowledge of where they come from so an open adoption, if desired, would be welcome.  Your child will always know that your decision was made out of love and your hopes of giving them a fulfilling life by choosing the right family specially for them.  We look forward to honoring you by sharing with them the amazing love you have for your baby and how you had a dream for their precious life.

Sincerely,

Yathi & Gina

IL Family | Ben & Brittany

Ben and Brittany are waiting to welcome a child into their heart and home through open adoption. Learn more about them!

Dear Birth Mom/Family,

Thank you for taking the time to look at our profile. We want to reassure you of the love and kindness we would offer to your baby. We have been married for eight years. Ben is adopted and is very thankful for the full life he was given with his adoptive parents. He truly appreciates the gift his birth mother and father gave to his adoptive parents.

We feel called to adopt after suffering years of infertility. Besides Ben and his brother, we have other family members who have been adopted, and we know adoption is such a blessing. We cannot wait to spend time reading to a child, seeing their firsts, and providing a safe, nurturing environment for them to grow up to become the person they are meant to be. We would be ever so grateful for this opportunity, and our lives would not be complete without the gift of adoption.

Sincerely,

Ben and Brittany

Our Story & How We Met

We met in college in 2009 at a religious retreat. It depends on who you ask on who pursued the other. All that matters is we can forgive each other at the end of the day, and we are the best of friends.  We got married in 2012, and we have always wanted a family of our own and looking forward to the day when it can happen. We love our family and have a total of 11 nieces and nephews. We enjoy going to the theater, museums, traveling, hiking, cooking, home improvement, playing board games, and exercising. Diversity and social justice are very important to both of us; we believe it is important to keep an open mind to the world around us.

About Us & Fun Facts

About Ben According to Brittany…

When I met Ben, I knew I was in trouble.  I prayed to God that I would marry someone interesting, and GOD delivered.  Ben is someone full of random facts and knowledge.  He has expansive knowledge of just about everything. This comes in handy with his work as an epidemiologist.  He loves to cook, play video games, travel, read, listen to music/podcasts, and wrestle Teddy. He has one of the biggest, kindest hearts I have ever met.  He really lives according to God’s purpose and offers others no judgement.  He challenges me to a be a better person as we work our way towards heaven.

About Brittany According to Ben…

Brittany is a caring and compassionate person. She has truly found her vocation as a teacher, where she gets to help young minds mature and grow daily. She is also very involved with our community, serving on the parish council of our church, supporting her students’ extra-curricular activities, or just participating in community life and being a good friend. She is also a very funny person, and her experience with theater shows in the way she entertains and interests her students. I have known Brittany for more than a decade now and am continually surprised by her in the best possible way.

Our Home

Our neighborhood is very culturally diverse. We live close to public transportation, schools, and many parks We live in a single-family home, with a fenced in back yard.  Brittany is a teacher for the local, public high school. There are many young families near us. Our house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms along with a semi-finished basement perfect for a playroom.  We also have a fenced in backyard that can fit a playground.

Our Families

Brittany’s Family

I am originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and my parents still live there now.  They typically go to Florida for the winter.  My mother was a stay-at-home mom growing up, and she was always sure to be involved in my many theatre productions as a child.  From taking me to her quilting to working backstage, she was very supportive of my dreams and fostering my sense of creativity.  My father is an engineer, and he taught me how to fix things around the house.  He did not have any boys, so he needed someone to teach his expertise on home improvement.   I am the youngest of three girls.  My oldest sister, Stephanie, is a doctor, and my middle sister, Nicole, is a stay-at-home mom.   Stephanie has five children, and Nicole has four children.  They both welcomed a baby recently.  The whole family is excited to meet our new little one!  The child will have a lot of cousins to play with when we gather as a family.

Ben’s Family

I have one brother and two stepbrothers. My brother lives in the lower peninsula of Michigan and has two children. Both of my parents are now retired, my mother lives outside of Detroit, Michigan and my father and stepmother live in Arizona. My mother was a pediatric nurse practitioner and was very good at tending to all my medical needs.  My father was an attorney, and he often would go on my many camping trips with Boy Scouts. All my parents were strong advocates for my education and instilled in me values of faith, love, and kindness.  Growing up my family liked to travel and go camping a lot, and I have many good memories from my childhood of spending time outside with my family.

Pets

Teddy

Our dog, Teddy, is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. He is very good with kids and loves everyone he meets. He is a local celebrity in our neighborhood because he is so cute and knows it. He is social and likes to meet new people and dogs. He is a very calm dog and rarely barks. He is slightly under twenty pounds and loves to cuddle up to you on the couch.

Hobbies and Travel

We love to spend time at home and traveling. While at home we like to work on home improvement, host friends/bible study, or just spend time together.  We like to fix and make improvements around the house when we can. Recent projects include painting our garage and a ceiling, repairing a toilet, and installing a new overhead light. We also enjoy traveling. We try to see our family as often as we can, and we also enjoy going to new places. We enjoy both exploring new cities and spending time out in nature, hiking, cross county skiing, and other activities. We cannot wait to take our children on trips and teach them how to fix things around the house to build strong memories.

Thank You

Thank you so much for all the time you took to look at our book. We are looking forward to this next chapter in our lives. A child is something we have both been dreaming about for a very long time. Your baby would be brought up in a household full of love and kindness. Our values and beliefs are strong, and we would like our children to have a strong sense of who they are in the world. We know picking a family is difficult, and we would be so honored if you do pick us. We will pray for you and all birth mothers/ families going through this process.

Blessings,

Ben, Brittany, & Teddy

IL Family | Natasha and Catherine

Natasha and Catherine are waiting to welcome a child into their heart and home through open adoption. Learn more about them!

Dear Birth Mom/Family,

Hello!

There are so many things you must be feeling right now — it’s hard to find the right words for such an emotional process but we’ll do our best.

We’re not like most families you encounter and that makes us well equipped to handle whatever life throws our way.

We want you to know that we will move mountains to provide a loving, safe, and stable home for your child. Most of all, we promise to honor your journey as well as your child’s.

Thank you for reading, we are so happy you’d consider us and we can’t wait to meet you.

Natasha and Catherine

Our Story & How We Met

We’ve moved across continents, learned new languages, and overcome many obstacles as we’ve built our life together. After almost 10 years, we are excited to grow our family.

We met when we were both living in San Francisco. We were good friends first, we fell in love, and then became a great team. We have a lot in common — both immigrants, we have similar values around family, hard work, and honesty. So when Natasha wanted to return to Chicago to be closer to her family, Catherine followed.

Fun Facts:

  • At home, we speak “Franglish” It’s our own mixture of French and English. We also speak Russian and Tagalog with our respective families.
  • While our home is in Chicago, we now have dual citizenship, which means that your child will have both French and American passports.
  • We love everything cozy! So much so that we own over a dozen knit throw blankets.
  • Our current hobby is finding street art in different cities and collecting works from artists we discover.
  • We both grew up fans of the Bulls, so we think it was destiny that we settled in Chicago.

About Natasha

Natasha was born in Belarus, a little country near Russia and is an adoptee herself. Today she works as a Sales Engineer at a big technology company. She recently took a role that requires less travel and more predictable hours to prepare for building a family.

Natasha loves cooking as much as she loves eating. She enjoys making tacos with homemade tortillas, dumplings, and all kinds of cakes. She’s so excited about all the amazing food she’ll introduce to your child. On that front, Catherine is a great eater and doesn’t mind cleaning up!

Natasha’s Family

Natasha was adopted by her grandparents when she was 7 years old.  Her grandmother (“babushka”), Margarita, lives nearby in Chicago and is a big part of our lives. Natasha is also close with her aunt [also] Natasha, uncle Alex, and cousin Jenny. Jenny is like a sister and they talk almost every day (to be honest, though, half the time they speak in memes).

About Catherine

Catherine was born in Paris shortly after her parents immigrated there from the Philippines. She grew up speaking French, English, and Tagalog. Today, Catherine is an engineering leader at a startup. Even though she has a big job, family and health always come first.

A kid (and geek) at heart, Catherine loves reading graphic novels and playing with Legos in her spare time.

Catherine’s Family

Catherine’s family lives abroad. Her mom and dad – Gloria and Felix – are both retired and are excited to add another grandchild to the family. Catherine also has a younger brother (Michael) and sister (Jane) who both live in Paris. Jane’s daughter, Emelyne, is excited for a baby cousin!

Life as an international family

We make it a priority to see Catherine’s family a few times a year. Sometimes we travel to Paris to see them, sometimes they come to visit in Chicago, and sometimes we meet up somewhere else (like China or Spain)! Last year, we got our families together in Chicago and had a great time on a boat tour and eating Korean BBQ.

As you can imagine, travel is a huge part of who we are. We love exploring new cultures, connecting with friends who live all over the world, and enabling our families to explore with us.

It’s safe to say that your child will be a true global citizen. We can’t wait to explore the world together [when it’s safe to do so]!

Our Chosen Family

We’re lucky to have friends who are family both here in Chicago and all over the world. Their kids already call us “Aunt Natasha” and “Aunt Cath” (or “Tata Nat” and “Tata Cath” in French). They will all be incredible role models and are so excited for us to welcome a little one into our family. We’re a little biased, but we think our friends are some of the best people ever and we are so grateful to have them as we continue to this next chapter in our lives.

Our Home & Community

We live in a beautiful, secure apartment building near downtown Chicago. All of our windows face west, so we often come home to beautiful sunsets that fill our apartment with warm light. We look forward to introducing your child to theatre, art, and amazing museums — all walking distance from our apartment! One of the biggest reasons we settled here, though, was that we live right down the street from one of the best public schools in the city.

We also have a lake house about an hour away in Michigan, where we spend many weekends. We have 2 acres of land so when we’re not making s’mores with neighbors or going to the beach, we are getting dirty! This summer we hauled several tons of rocks to create our new firepit. Natasha’s already making plans to build a sandbox and a swing set. Maybe even a tree house!

Thank You

We humbly thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. Life is full of difficult choices and we’ll do everything in our power to make sure this choice brings you and your child peace.

My sister luckily lives close by and my parents live only a couple hours away but they usually come & stay for long periods of time to hang out with the grandkids. We consider ourselves blessed that we have such strong bonds with our family.

Pets

Senna is our 2yr old cockapoo pup who is named after a race car driver. He is by far the best cuddler & is so sweet. He loves playing fetch at the park & in the back yard, although he’s not always good at bringing it back. His favorite holiday is Halloween because he gets to dress up & gets so much attention from everyone!

Our typical weekend

Weekends are the best! We get to hang out with our next door neighbors, which is a dear friend of ours and has 3 kids ages 9, 6 & 3. The kids love to come over & play in our yard with Senna. When we are not at our house then we might be at a festival or farmers market getting fresh food.

WI Family | Matt & Erin

Matt and Erin are waiting to welcome a child into their heart and home through open adoption. Learn more about them!

Dear Birth Mom/Family,

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to learn about us.   We hope you are able to see just how much love we have to share.  We are so very grateful for you, and we respect the immense amount of courage it takes to choose life and consider an adoption plan.   It is important to us that you feel supported along this entire process and beyond.  Your story is important and one we will always protect and hold closely in our hearts.

So how did we get here? Married in 2012, we both knew from the start that we wanted to build a family together.   Having been adopted as an infant herself into a family where adoption was always considered special, Erin has long desired to adopt.   After several challenging yet faith-strengthening years of infertility and then miscarriage in 2017, it became clear to us that God was opening Matthew’s heart to adoption as well.  It seemed God’s timing for us to begin our adoption journey as a couple was now upon us.

Children have always had a significant role in both of our lives.   As proud Auntie and Uncle to several nieces and nephews, it has truly been a joy getting to see each other interact with children, and we look forward with great anticipation to the opportunity of welcoming your child into our home to love and to cherish.   We pray for your peace and comfort in knowing that your child will be loved fully and unconditionally forever; and they will grow and be shaped into a person of greatness because of you and this beginning.  You are an integral piece of that story.

With love and gratitude,

Matthew and Erin

Our Story & How We Met

The story of “us” all started in the fall of 2011 when our lives first crossed after meeting on a dating website.  Erin’s birthmother encouraged her to set up a profile and Matthew’s friends encouraged him to be bolder and more courageous with his.  Not having much faith that the site would work, Erin simply put up a few pictures and the words “I love my family.  I love Jesus.” Intrigued by her statement, Matthew reached out to Erin to learn more about her and what her faith meant to her personally.  From that moment on, we guess you could say it was “love at first e-mail!” We enjoyed our first date in November 2011 and were married in August 2012 on our family farm, right before Harvest.  Matthew grew up in the country and loves to be outside! He is co-owner/operator of the farm and spends his days operating machinery to grow and harvest crops.  Erin grew up in a nearby town and now enjoys life in the country.  She spends her days caring for children as a nanny, building her home-based business, leading a women’s Bible study, and helping out on the farm.  We enjoy building our country life together with our dog, Benji!

All About Matthew -written by Erin

This incredible man is the love of my life.  From day one, Matthew has always inspired me with his incredible work ethic and drive to succeed at whatever he does.  He loves to be outside and has been a farmer from the day he was born.  Although he has moved on from his toy tractors to the real ones as he works daily to produce a profitable crop of corn and soybeans, he still looks forward to bringing out the toy ones to play with our children one day.  I enjoy helping Matthew out on the farm when I have the opportunity.  We are a team! Matthew also has an amazing way of getting people to laugh, and I love that about him.  I love watching Matthew with our nieces and nephews and other children, whether it be taking them for combine rides at the farm, playing with toys, reading books, or rocking them to sleep.  I simply cannot wait to parent a child together!

All About Erin- written by Matthew

I can’t imagine my life without Erin.  She is not only my wife, but my best friend.  I love that Erin is always so happy and cheerful, regularly greeting you with a friendly, warm smile! She is constantly positive, energetic, caring and sociable.  Erin has many years of experience in caring for children, including nannying for two boys, and being a wonderful auntie! She is incredibly patient and does an excellent job of playing with them, reading to them, and creating a great environment for them to learn new things.  As a parent, I know Erin will continue to be loving, responsible, honest, and generous.   She is an excellent listener and very supportive.   She is always up for an adventure, and I enjoy when we can be adventurous and playful together.  I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us and am excited to have Erin by my side to parent a child.

Our Home & Community

We live in a two-story farmhouse on 100 acres which is part of our farm.  We enjoy decorating for the holidays! Our yard has plenty of room for a child to run and play and explore.  We enjoy riding the 4-wheeler down to the woods out back which are nestled along the river.  We have made trails through the woods so we can enjoy hiking or 4-wheeling back there and can also fish in our pond or the river or enjoy a campfire.  The homes of our rural community are spread out but are filled with very friendly neighbors, most of which are also farming families themselves.  We are located just a short drive away from several towns where we can visit local parks, libraries, splash pads and farmer’s markets.

Our Families

Matthew comes from a loving family; his parents have been married over 50 years! He has two brothers and two sisters, who all have families of their own.  We have many nieces and nephews on Matthew’s side of the family who will enjoy playing with their new cousin, especially when we gather together at holidays.  What a gathering it is, too!  Holidays are a special time of celebration in Matthew’s family.  Last Christmas, we had nearly 40 of us there! We enjoy being able to share a meal together, play games and talk for hours with each other just catching up.  A few of the holiday traditions in Matthew’s family include annual lefse making, Christmas Eve candlelight suppers, and setting out a table full of treats the night of our gathering and snacking together while we share in conversation and making many fun memories.  Matthew has farmed with his dad for his entire life.  We enjoy having them close.  We look forward to carrying on the farming legacy with our children and having them be part of all the family fun!

Erin comes from a very close-knit family.  Her parents have been married for 47 years, and we appreciate their positive example in our own marriage as well.  We enjoy going to Brewers games with them.  Erin has two sisters who are both married, and each have young children.  Being a proud auntie to her nieces is certainly a role Erin takes very seriously.  We love gathering together for family dinners, trips to the farmer’s market, and definitely celebrating holidays together.

Erin also has a bonus family – her birth family! Adopted as an infant herself, adoption has always been considered special in our home.  For the last 14+ years, Erin has also had a positive relationship with her birth family, which even includes two more sisters and a brother.  Erin looks forward to sharing this special part of life’s journey with our child.  Our nieces and nephews are looking forward to having another new cousin to play with.  Erin’s family has so much love they are ready to pour out on a new child in the family, and simply cannot wait for that day to come!

Meet Benji

Adopted in July 2015, Benji has provided non-stop joy and entertainment since the day we brought him home.  With a spirit of adventure, he loves exploring around the farm, going for walks, car rides, four-wheeler rides, and going camping with us.  Benji loves to be loved.  He enjoys cuddling and has a gentle personality.  He enjoys playing fetch with the children he has been around, including weekly visits by our niece.  We believe he’ll make an excellent “big brother.”

Our Adventures

Life is a grand adventure, and we love to have fun! We both enjoy going to Brewers games as we are season-ticket holders.  We also enjoy other sporting events to cheer on our local teams.  In the wintertime, we enjoy snowmobiling and serve on the board of our local snowmobile club.  In the warmer months, we enjoy watching fireworks, going camping, riding ATVs, kayaking, fishing and having bonfires.

We have a few favorite vacation spots and have also enjoyed exploring other countries as well when sailing on the cruise ships we have been on.  We have made many great family friends through our adventures, and we look forward to including our children in on the fun!

Thank You

We cannot thank you enough for considering us.  Thank you for taking the time to learn about our hearts and our dreams for a family.   We promise that our home will be filled with faith, hope, love and laughter and that you will always have a place in our hearts and our family.  We eagerly look forward to the opportunity of joining you on this journey.

WI Family | Ray & Tiana

Ray and Tiana are waiting to welcome a child into their heart and home through open adoption. Learn more about them!

Dear Birth Parent(s),

We’d like to thank you for giving us this opportunity to introduce ourselves and tell you about our family.

Adoption has always been a part of our family plan.  We wanted to help children needing a loving and nurturing home, while growing our own family.  We’re extremely grateful that you love your child so deeply, that you’re willing to consider an adoption plan.  Though we could never fully understand the weight of this very emotional decision – it isn’t lost on us.  We believe that our greatest responsibility as parents is to ensure that our children, however many we may be blessed with, know that they’re safe, supported, and loved.  Love + Family are the foundation of our lives and our parents have been our greatest teachers.  There is so much that we enjoy seeing and doing that could only be better given the opportunity to share or pass down to children we’re blessed to raise in our home.

Our Story & How We Met

Ray & I met 19 years ago, and our lives have been eventful and fulfilling.  We have known both joy and sorrow — experiences that have helped to shape us as individuals, a couple, and a family.  We both grew up in the same small and very rural town.  It’s probably safe to say we always knew each other, but we didn’t start dating until 2001.  We dated 2+ years before getting engaged and were engaged for another 2 years to be married on a specific date, April Fool’s Day 2006!  From a small campfire to I do, our life has been bursting with excitement and adventure ever since.

About Us & Fun Facts

Ray is a strong, caring, and compassionate guy that is always helping others.  He loves spending his free time outdoors, woodworking, hunting, fishing, spending time with friends and family — especially our son Rex.  Ray has an optimistic outlook on life.  He is passionate about his home, family, and friends – and a loyal employee to a company he’s been with for almost 30 years.  He’s a wonderful father, friend, son, and brother.

Tiana is a leader, living life with a cheery, bright, and positive disposition.  She loves reading, traveling, and taking little adventures with the family. Shopping and exploring things she’s never done before are some of her favorite pastimes.  She enjoys life to its fullest, never taking any one or thing for granted.  She is passionate about her home, family, and friends – and driven in her career to be successful.  She’s a wonderful mother, friend, daughter, sister, and confidant.

Our Son

Our son is 5 years old and made us a family of 3 through the blessing of adoption in 2014.  He’s spunky, courageous, sweet, brave, and contagiously happy.  He loves taking adventures, choo-choo trains, animals (especially kitties), traveling, and meeting new friends.  He loves to be social, try new things, and most importantly keeps us on our toes every single day.  Love is oozing out of this little boy, and he’d make the best big brother a sibling could ask for.

Our Home & Community

We live in a rural area in Southwest Wisconsin, and our home is an older renovated farmhouse that sits on 17 acres.  We’ve filled that space with trees for privacy, a large and plentiful garden in the summer months, beautiful flowers and landscaping, fruit trees, and more.  We live on what we’d call a hobby farm with an array of very friendly animals to keep us busy and entertained.  Although we live outside of town, we’re from a very tight knit town/community, and we’re very involved in any events or activities in the area.

Our Families

We love our family and spend lots of time with them.  We’re very lucky to live near both sides of our family’s, which gives us ample opportunity to foster close relationships and make many memories that will last a lifetime.  We are a tight knit group, and spend our holidays, vacations, and free time with them.  In addition to our immediate family, we’ve been blessed to be embraced by a large extended family that also live close including many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

What We Love To Do

We love any activity we can do together as a family.  We have been fortunate to be able to travel and explore a variety of places around the US.  We love a long road trip!  It’s a dream of ours to be able to say we’ve been to all 50 states.  We also like to explore locally and really enjoy anything that has to do with the outdoors.

Thank You

We hope this gives you a small glimpse of our family and the life we’re building.  The journey you’re on is difficult, and we can in no way imagine what it’s like to be in your shoes.  We’re so grateful that you have chosen to make an adoption plan for your child and are sincerely humbled by your selfless decision.  We hope you’ll find comfort in the life, love, laughter, and happiness you see here, and the commitment we’d love to share with you.

Dear Birth Mom/Family,

Hello!  We are Jerome, Laura, and Jack.  We met out West in Portland, OR.  We enjoy traveling, hiking adventures, swimming, visiting local parks and zoos and date nights.  We also really enjoy football in our house,  We have a Packers and Seahawks rivalry, and on football Sundays you will see us all supporting our teams!

We have always wanted to have a family and decided the best way to do that was through adoption.  We have one son, Jack who was adopted from Texas. Jack has been a blessing since the first day we held him in our arms.  Now, we are ready to make Jack a big brother.

Thank you for reading about us.  We cannot imagine how difficult the decision to make an adoption plan must be for you.  We admire beyond words the choice you have decided to make.  The gift of adoption is a blessing to our whole family.  We cannot wait to show you the love we have in hearts!
