Matching Gifts Increase Your Donation to Holt International

By simply completing a matching gift form (online or on paper), your workplace may match your charitable donations to Holt — doubling, or even tripling, the impact of your gift! If your company does not match employee donations, it doesn’t hurt to ask. It might just inspire your employer to support employees’ generosity and double the impact of your donations.

This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Fred Meyer shopper’s card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at Fred Meyer and swipe your shopper’s card.

How does it work?

Give from your IRA

Donors 70.5 and older with a traditional IRA are eligible to make a tax-free donation directly from their IRA to Holt International called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). Generally speaking, these gifts are tax-free and can be a smarter way to help children and families through Holt this year.

For those 72 and older, QCDs can count towards a required minimum distribution, also allowing you to use your IRA to help care for children in need.
